In this trilogy, Brian talks about your options for final disposition and a final resting place for a loved one. For this podcast, Brian talks about the different options families have for a final disposition.

For burial, there are three different resting place options: above ground, in the ground or at sea. A body can be entombed in a mausoleum or buried in a cemetery. At sea, a body can be released into the ocean in a biodegradable container that is weighted.

If cremation is chosen, there are several different options. An urn can be buried in the ground at a cemetery, urn garden or memorial garden. Like a casket can be placed in a crypt, an urn can be entombed in a niche. A biodegradable urn can be released at sea, or in an inland body of water. A well known option is that cremains can be scattered or kept at the home of a loved one.

Additionally, Brian talks about body donation and scattering at sea performed by the Navy.
